Soldering Jobs
Charlie Wolter asked:

The other day a friend calls and says that his water line is leaking. He was calling to see if I would help him replace it since I have a previous history of doing handyman work around the house. Naturally I said sure and went out and picked up some 3/4 inch copper and took it to his house. Everything was going fine, found the leak, cut out the bad piece, turned off the main water, dried out the line and then proceeded to put in the new piece. Unfortunately it didn’t go so well, the solder just ran straight down not going into the joint. After many tries and new splices of frustration I finally called my other friend, the expert, who has a bit more experience in the field. Come to find out that I had soldering paste that had gone bad. Went out to the hardware store bought some new soldering paste and the job was done in 10 minutes.

So that got me thinking about business in general. How many times do we keep doing the same thing over and over again never looking or thinking that there is a better way, never looking for the expert? We as humans love a routine and that’s okay but sometimes we don’t want to get out of the routine and look to others for help until massive frustration sets in. I remember my early days in network marketing; frustration was abounding but no expert to be found. So I did go outside the box and found help and now years later I help people do the same. I have become the expert and totally enjoy helping others find the solutions to their problems.

Now I as push the envelope of new learning I look to more and more experts. Taking a little advice from each person that I run across and encompassing it into my repertoire of knowledge. The biggest challenge I face right now is how to get everything I want accomplished in the day with the time I have. So I turn to a time management expert and what do you know I am making more accomplishments than I thought I could with a little time management.

What will be the next hurdle, what is or will be your next hurdle? Whether you are struggling or not, look for more help before frustration sets in. Look to advance your skills and surround yourself with experts in many fields. Take some advice from each person you meet in your business and build your business through the eyes of an expert. You will be amazed at how fast you can accumulate income and benefits just by looking to the experts for some help.
