Is there a way to solder the wire connecting the output and the voice coil on a 4 ohm kicker solobaricL7?

I just bought the speaker used and the wire connecting the voice coil to one of the four jacks melted off. Can I simply stick the wire back in and solder it or is the there some disassembly required.
